A woman was reportedly gangraped by four persons in the room of a tubewell at a village of the Chhachhrauli block of Yamunanagar district on Thursday night.
The accused allegedly tied up her husband before committing the crime. On the complaint of the victim, a case was registered against five unidentified persons at the Chhachhrauli police station on Friday.
The couple were from Nepal and the 37-year-old complainant's husband worked as labourer at the farm of a farmer in the village. "Five persons with faces covered came in a car to the tubewell around 11 pm. They tied up my husband and four of them raped me," she reported.
She stated that when the fifth tried to rape her, she pushed him away and he fell. She added that the accused fled after threatening them with dire consequences.
