Chandigarh, December 26
With seven more deaths and 392 fresh cases, the state's Covid tally reached 2.6 lakh today.
Bhiwani reported two deaths while one death each came from Fatehabad, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonepat.
The maximum fresh cases were recorded from Gurugram at 99, followed by 41 from Faridabad, 30 from Sonepat, 28 each from Kurukshetra and Yamunanagar, 27 from Karnal and 21 from Panipat.
A total of 600 people got cured in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered cases to 2.53 lakh. There are 4,535 active cases in the state.
