A bailable warrant has been issued against District Town Planner (DTP) RS Bhat for not having appeared in court in connection with the alleged fraud in the allotment of EWS plots.
He was directed to submit the records of EWS plots allotted by Ansal Buildwell Ltd in Suhant Lok Phase 2 and 3 here. The builder, in “connivance” with officials of the DTP’s office, had allegedly sold 20 per cent of EWS plots at a whopping price.
Sushant Lok resident Rajendra Kumar Goel had moved court, alleging discrepancies in the plot allotment. The DTP’s office has allegedly not submitted these documents, claiming the record are “untraceable”.
Bath said he would arrange all records dating to 1985 and submit those in the court on the next hearing on July 14. — OC
