Bathinda, April 8
Doctors from the Civil Hospital, Bathinda, under the banner of the PCMS Association, blocked the Bathinda-Mansa road for two hours alleging that a policeman allegedly misbehaved with a woman doctor on duty at the emergency unit of the hospital on Wednesday evening.
Raising slogans against the police, the protesting doctors demanded that punitive action must be taken against the cop. The doctors ended the protest after senior police officers assured them that required action would be taken in the matter. — TNS
