Dhindsa likely to join AAP, says Cheema

Tribune News Service

Chandigarh, April 8

Reacting to reports of an alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Shiromani Akali Dal (Democratic), senior AAP leader Harpal Singh Cheema on Thursday said a meeting of party's Punjab affairs co-in charge Raghav Chadha and SAD (Democratic) president Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa had taken place.

However, instead of an alliance, the discussion focused on inviting leaders of the SAD (Democratic) to join AAP. He said AAP would not form any alliance with the SAD (Democratic) but all its leaders, including Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, would join AAP soon.

Cheema said both AAP and SAD (Democratic) were working to save Punjab and they would come together on a platform to raise the voice of people. Cheema said Dhindsa was affirmative about joining AAP and he would soon take a decision on it.
