She alleged five persons involved in liquor business had abetted suicide of her husband Anil Kataria. Kataria used a 32-bore pistol to "commit suicide" on Wednesday. OC

Chandigarh: The ED, Mining, has launched a crackdown against illegal mining in Patiala. The police and mining officials, raided an illegal mining site at Chalaila village, seized a Poclain JCB machine. One of the main accused Om Parkash is still at large. Journalist missing after mishap
Bathinda: Kanwaljit Singh Sidhu, a senior journalist of a Punjabi daily Ajit, has been missing since Saturday. He was hurt in an accident on Goniana Road. After this, no information is available about him. TNS
