The Haryana Government plans to open a state university in Nuh district, said Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar while responding to a question asked by Ferozepur Jhirka MLA Mamman Khan during the ongoing Budget Session of the Vidhan Sabha here today.
The Higher Education Council was exploring its feasibility. Once feasibility was ascertained, further action would be taken, he added.
The government would soon start the construction of the Mandola-Narnaul state highway in Mahendragarh district. Besides, the Dadri-Mahendragarh road would be widened (seven metres to 10 metres) to four lanes, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala told the Assembly.
Dushyant said there would be no shortage of development projects in the Baroda Assembly constituency. He added that the problem of drainage of waste water in some villages would be resolved soon. — TNS
