Chandigarh, January 2
Haryana will soon have its first electric vehicle charging station in Panchkula. It will be inaugurated on January 4 by Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Tarun Kapoor, and Additional Chief Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Department, TC Gupta.
An official spokesperson said that this electric vehicle charging station will be the first station in Haryana. It has the capacity to charge every electric vehicle varying from small to large.
He said the Department of New and Renewable Energy had been designated as the state nodal agency for setting up the infrastructure. — TNS
