A local shop in Farrukhnagar was robbed by armed persons on Friday evening. The accused flashing a pistol fled the spot with some goods and the cash available at counter.
An FIR has been registered at Farrukhnagar police station.
According to a complaint filed by Deepak Aggarwal of Ward No. 4 here, he was at his shop located in main market when three men came there for shopping.
"My salesmen Rohit and Nishant were also there. The trio selected some items worth Rs 16,000. When I asked them for the payment, one of them took out a pistol and threatened me. They snatched Rs 7,000 from the counter and fled the spot. Later the police was called," Aggarwal told the police.
As per the complaint, an FIR has been registered. The police said they were trying to identify the accused with the help of CCTV footage.
