The LED display board project was launched on November 29. Then, officials had said display boards would be effective in delivering messages regarding Covid-19 and others to residents and commuters. Display boards carry digital messages regarding police contact numbers and other information.
Officials said as per the plan, eight LED displays were to be affixed at various light points, including one at Leela Bhawan Chowk and Shera Wala Gate light point. LED displays were being shifted for better visibility, officials added.
