The three-day annual Shaheedi Jor Mela concluded with religious ceremonies here today.
A ‘nagar kirtan’ was taken out from Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib to Gurdwara Jyoti Swarup Sahib by Bhai Harpal Singh. In his message, Giani Harpreet Singh, acting Jathedar of the Akal Takht, reminded the Sikhs how the religion was formed after great sacrifices. He said no struggle or agitation could be a success by deserting the religion. He urged everyone to pray for the success of the farm agitation. — OC
