Zirakpur, December 22
An unidentified body of a girl was found near the railway track in Gazipur today.
The Railway police have kept the body at the Dera Bassi Civil Hospital for the next 72 hours for identification. ASI Rajinder Singh said the girl was in her early 20s and was wearing blue jeans, white top and pink shoes.
A mobile phone with no SIM card has been found near the body.
The police suspect that the girl, probably from nearby housing societies, was crushed to death by the Ambala-Chandigarh Deluxe Train around 4 pm. No suicide note has been found on the girl.
