To mark National Consumer Rights Day, UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore released a book, 'CP Act 2019 and Rules and Regulations 2020', authored by Ajay Jagga, Additional Standing Counsel, UT, and Aishwarya Jagga.

Mediation Cell in UT soon
Chandigarh: The National Consumer Rights Day was today observed by the Department of Food and Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
Justice Raj Shekhar Attri explained that a chapter of mediation had been added to the consumers' Act, which will be a disputes redressal mechanism. A mediation cell has been notified and will be started on a priority. — TNS
