Panipat, August 29
A-26-year-old woman here alleged that two persons, including her Facebook friend, raped her in the city. The police have booked the accused under the IPC.
The woman, who is a widow, in her complaint to the police said one of the accused was her Facebook friend and they had started chatting on the social media platform around six months ago.
The accused, Sonu, on Tuesday allegedly called her to celebrate his birthday and took her to a dairy shop near Pehalwan Chowk. His friend Vikas was already there.
She alleged that they gave her a cold drink laced with some sedative due to which she fell unconscious and both the accused raped her. — TNS
