Chandigarh, August 26
A 24-year-old youth reportedly committed suicide at Hallo Majra on Tuesday night.
The victim has been identified as Mohit Kumar, who had recently got married. Sources said he had an argument at home after which he went to his room and started playing loud music.
Sometime later, he was found hanging following which the police were informed and the victim was taken to the GMCH, Sector 32, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The police said the reason for the suicide was being investigated. Inquest proceedings have been initiated at the Sector 31 police station.
