Jind-Rohtak road in pathetic condition
A 57-km stretch on the Jind-Rohtak road is a bane of commuters, as it is a bumpy ride. The condition of the road is poor and travelling between Jind and Rohtak is more of an invitation to mishaps. The road is dusty and it not only pollutes the environment but leads to difficulty in breathing. The administration must get the road repaired at the earliest. Devinder Singh Surjewala, Narwana
Remove encroachments in Karnal city
While the UP Government is bulldozing unauthorised structures, the Haryana Government is silent on it. In fact, in Karnal, the municipal authorities seem to be in hand in glove with encroachers. The road connecting Dyal Singh College with medical college houses, which is one of the busy roads of the city where parking lots are scarce. That too has been encroached upon by food vendors, rehris and canteens. It is high time the MC and the administration got up from their slumber and take some steps to decongest the road.
