Zirakpur: A garbage dump in a vacant plot near Zaika, a restaurant and bar, caught fire on the Zirakpur-Patiala road here on Wednesday evening. Since the area is densely populated with many hotels and restaurants nearby, a fire tender was rushed to the spot around 7:30 pm. Within a few minutes, the fire was brought under control. No loss of life or property was reported. TNS
