Chandigarh, April 1
The Punjab Government has appointed ADGP (Internal Security) RN Dhoke as the first Director of the newly established Enforcement Directorate-Mining.
The Home Department issued orders to this effect today. It also posted IG Pramod Ban as the IG, Ropar range.
The Cabinet had approved setting up of the ED-Mining to check illegal activities in mining. Dhoke will retain the charge of Internal Security also. — TNS
