Chandigarh, April 10
SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal today said Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh should resign for being hand in glove with the BJP-led Union Government in punishing farmers of the state for protesting the three agricultural laws.
The SAD president, addressing a press conference, said the Chief Minister had sold the interests of the state to the BJP. "Forget fighting for the rights of the state, Capt Amarinder does not even raise issues affecting the people with the Centre," said Badal. The CM had time and again agreed with all anti-farmer steps taken by the Centre, he alleged.
Badal said the CM recently indulged in a drama of opposing the direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme, which he had agreed in writing to implement from this year. — TNS
