Chandigarh, April 14
An unbeaten half-century by Aditya Raj helped Learning Path Cricket Academy, Mohali, beat DAV Cricket Academy, Panchkula, by four wickets in a Bal Krishan Dass Memorial U-14 Cricket Tournament match here today.
Chasing 160 runs for victory, Learning Path boys reached home in 25.2 overs with four wickets to spare. Raj remained not out on 60. His 53-ball knock was studded with 10 boundaries.
Rizu Shrivastwa contributed 32 runs to the chase, while Uday Veer chipped in with a useful 18.
Aryan Angaria claimed two wickets for DAV Academy, while Lakshay Rana, Kunal Thakur and Yashovardhan Verma took one wicket each.
Earlier, batting first, DAV boys scored 159/4 in the stipulated 30 overs.
Daksh Kashyap made 68, while Parmeet Singh Gill added 45 runs to the DAV total. Samanvay Bali scored 24 runs.
For Learning Path, Lakshya picked two wickets, while Manraj and Meeth bagged a wicket apiece. — TNS
