As many as 1,651 persons aged between 45 and 59 years were administered the Covid-19 vaccine on the second day of the third phase of vaccination.
The overall vaccination figure, including above 60 years, healthcare workers and frontline workers, stood at 3,158.
Over 70K doses of the Covid vaccine have been administered in the district so far.
