Cleanliness is a distant dream in Sector 16 and 17 of Hisar district. The issue had been raised the authorities concerned for the last three-months, but in vain as no action has been taken till date. Garbage dumping at vacant plots and wild growth of bushes is spoiling the beauty of the sectors and adding the residents' woes. Similarly, sanitation system in Sector 13, 16 and 17 in Hisar town is in a shambles as open spaces in these residential sectors can be seen filled with garbage. Despite repeated complaints by local residents to the authorities, there seems to be nobody to take a note in the Municipal Corporation. Stray dogs and pigs roaming around streets and spreading litter and garbage is also a common seen here. It seems that the officials and the contractors who are given the contract for sanitation in the residential sectors are hand in glove. The sanitation workers are hardly deployed in these residential sectors to remove garbage. The authorities concerned must take a note of the situation and get the needful done immediately.

Is a civic issue bothering you? Are you agitated over the lack of concern? Is there something heartening that you feel needs to be highlighted? Or a picture which in your opinion ought to be seen by many, and not just you?
