Chandigarh, March 30
The Covid vaccination drive in the city has been further expanded to include all persons aged 45 and above from April 1.
According to an official statement by the UT Administration, the vaccine is available free of cost at all government facilities and for Rs250 per dose at private centres. The citizens are requested to register on the Co-WIN portal using the link www.cowin.gov.in.
"Alternatively, on-the-spot registration facility is also available at all Covid vaccination centres. As the positivity rate is increasing in the city, early vaccination will help in reducing the transmission of virus and help reduce the morbidity and mortality," the UT stated.
