The police have booked an unknown person for wrongful confinement of a 20-year-old girl from Dhakoli.
On a complaint of the girl's father, the police have registered a case under Section 346 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Dhakoli police post.
The complainant said the girl, who was employed at a housing society in Dera Bassi,
left the house on March 5 for work, but did not return home.
