Mansa: The police have busted a gang of drug peddlers and bootleggers with arrest of nine persons and seized 40 gm opium, 170 litres illicit liquor, 621 bottles of illicit liquor and a two-wheeler from their possession in Mansa district. The police have registered 11 cases under relevant Sections of IPC and NDPS Act against these accused. tns
Free travel facility
Chandigarh: The state has decided to provide free travel facility to all eligible family members of the freedom fighters up to the third generation, including their widows, unmarried and unemployed girls, boy/ girl,grandson/granddaughter/granddaughter, who could avail the benefit in the normal/AC buses of the Punjab Roadways and the PRTC. tns
