Mohali, December 21
Construction of a high-level bridge over Patiala ki Rao rivulet at Nayagaon village to Singha Devi temple will be done at a cost of Rs403.59 lakh and the project will be completed within six months. This was stated by MP Manish Tewari after laying the foundation stone for the bridge here today.
The bridge will connect Khuda Lahora to Karoran link road to Singha Devi temple over Patiala ki Rao rivulet. Due to the unavailability of a bridge over Patiala ki Rao rivulet, people have to go through the rivulet to reach the temple. In fact, the temple cuts off from the mainland during the rainy season. — TNS
