Hisar: Training and Placement Cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, organised the UDBHAVANA talk show-cum-webinar on the topic "Effective Resume Building". Dr Dinesh Nagpal, Director, IMS Hisar, and a renowned counsellor and motivational speaker, was the key note speaker of the programme. Pratap Singh, director placement, presided over the function. Dr Nagpal presented a power point presentation on "resume building for success" and said for any type of interview, a resume was a reflection of the candidate himself. While mentioning key achievements, one can use PAR method, i.e. Problem, Action amp; Result, which indicate on which assignment you worked, what was your specific role and what was the final outcome. Nitya Chugh, the coordinator of the event, presented the vote of thanks.

Rohtak: Prof Rajbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), has assigned the charge of Director, Centre for Yogic Studies, to Professor Surendra Kumar (Dept of Sanskrit) in addition to his present duties. The VC has assigned the charge of Head, Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, to Prof Shalini Singh (Department of Psychology) in addition to her present duties till further orders. The charge of Head, Dept of Commerce, has been given to Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce, in addition to his present duties till further orders.
