Chandigarh: On the notification issued by the state withdrawing the general consent given to the Central investigation agency, AAP state president Bhagwant Mann and Leader of Opposition Harpal Cheema claimed that previous state and Central governments, be it the Congress or the BJP, had treated the CBI like a caged parrot leveraging it to harass the opposition.
The AAP leaders demanded that cases already under investigation by the CBI should not be hampered or stalled midway in any way. — TNS
