A couple allegedly duped a man of Rs 11 lakh in the name of sending him to Australia.
On the complaint of Harpreet Singh of Kheri Rangdan village, a case was registered against Vikram and his wife Sweta of Yamunanagar under Sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the IPC at the Farakpur police station yesterday.
The complainant said he wanted to go to Australia on visitor visa in 2018. — TNS
