Panchkula: After reporting no deaths for two consecutive days, Panchkula on Wednesday witnessed three deaths, taking the district Covid toll to 104. A 69-year-old man from Sector 16, who was suffering from hepato renal syndrome and thrombocytopenia, a 46-year-old man from Sector 12-A, who was suffering hypertension, diabetes and chronic kidney disease, and a 65-year-old man from Sector 26, who was suffering from coronary artery disease, diabetes and hypertension, succumbed to the disease. The district also registered 27 fresh coronavirus cases. While 334 cases are still active, 6,246 patients have been cured. The district recovery rate stands at 93.4 per cent. TNS
