Chandigarh, September 9
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has said the state will develop a hassle-free and transparent model for registration of land for the convenience of the people.
He said the online path adopted by the state was being discussed across the nation and several states, including Telangana, were replicating the Haryana model.
He instructed all DCs to standardise collector rate by next week. He told them to constantly monitor the process of registry and appoint a coordinator at the tehsil level to work with the district-level departments related so that people don’t face any problems.
In response to a question regarding the NRI registry, Dushyant said in such cases, passport numbers would have to be submitted during the online process. — TNS
