Protesters seek revival of old pension scheme

Bathinda: Members of the Contribution Pension Fund Karamchari Union on Thursday staged a protest against the state government for not reviving the old pension scheme. Amrik Singh, general secretary of the union, said, "The state government had constituted a committee to expedite the process of reviving the old pension scheme in March 2019, but nothing has been done in this direction."
