For bringing transparency and control corruption in issuance of the no-objection certificates (NOCs) for the purpose of Section 7A of the Urban Area Act of 1975, the Department of Town and Country Planning has taken a major decision of accepting such applications online from Wednesday onwards.
An official spokesman said all details of the seller and buyer would be taken on the online form along with the land details for which the NOC is required. The software can be accessed from the department’s portal at https://ift.tt/33iBjW8
He said the application aimed to issue timely NOCs to the applicants. The reform will bring relief to applicants as they will not be required to submit any hardcopy of documents. This will also bring transparency in property registrations at Tehsil offices and also help in curbing the mushrooming of illegal colonies. All approvals will be conveyed online.
