Jobless teachers protest

Sangrur: On Teachers' Day, members of the BEd and TET Pass Union, dressed in a black attire, staged a protest in the city. They alleged that both Central and state governments had been implementing "anti-education policies". 2 more peddlers identified

Amritsar: The Tarn Taran police have identified two more aides of drug peddlers nabbed by them on Friday. A manhunt has been launched to arrest them. SSP Dhurman Nimble said during interrogation, the police came to know about two more persons to whom the peddlers used to hand over the contraband after retrieving it from the Indo-Pak border. TNS
