SMO suspended for dereliction of duty
A Senior Medical Officer was suspended by the Principal Secretary of Health for neglect of obligation and utilizing disdainful language against seniors in the office today.
The Senior Medical Officer, who was posted at Patran square of the area, was put under suspension and requested to join obligation at the Civil Surgeon Office, Patiala.
Blamed for wrongdoing
A few specialists working under the Senior Medical Officer had likewise leveled claims of unfortunate behavior against him during obligation hours.
A capacity was sorted out in Patran square of the area where an ASHA laborer was regarded by the neighborhood MLA. In a similar capacity, the said Senior Medical Officer was likewise regarded by the MLA. Sources said social separating standards were not followed within the sight of the Senior Medical Officer at the capacity.
Following this, Patiala Civil Surgeon Harish Malhotra sent the objections to the Principal Secretary, Health, to make a move against the Senior Medical Officer.
Following up on the objection, the Principal Secretary suspended the Senior Medical Officer and asked Patiala Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit to present a report on the issue at the most punctual.
Nonetheless, the Civil Surgeon would not remark on the issue. The suspended Senior Medical Officer couldn't be reached regardless of rehashed endeavors.
